Caffeine blocks adenosine receptors preventing your deep sleep. When GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) and melatonin are blocked by caffeine, you cannot sleep either. Serotonin is converted to melatonin which is required to sleep. Thus, insufficient serotonin also leads to insufficient melatonin causing the lack of sleep. Melatonin is essential to make you sleep. Serotonin is boosted by sunlight which should be absorbed by your eyes meaning that sunglasses disrupt this pivotal biological process to keep you awake and sleep.
Melatonin secretion is induced by darkness meaning that night lights prevent melatonin from being formed.
The lack of sleep leads to the loss of a chance to repair brain damage, which was supposed to happen while you sleep.
You have learned from my book how adenosine of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) is involved with the production of daily energy when oxygen species is abundantly available. You will realize how bad it is for caffeine to block adenosine receptors. At this point, you should realize that coffee has never been an energy drink even if its caffeine keeps you fully awake all through the night. It is opposite.
If you need energy, sleep in the room where you can open windows or doors in both sides. The fresh air must flow through windows and doors neither by an airconditioning system nor by a fan. The oxygen which has been irradiated by the sunlight is what you need.
Patients with schizophrenia reportedly drink coffee much more than healthy individuals do. As a result, their brain chemistry is altered thus their brains are permanently damaged.
In the first stage, patients with infections hardly sleep due to histamine release which triggers frequent urination and runny nose. Caffeine also triggers your mast cells to release endogenous histamine causing you to frequently urinate as well.
In the second stage, those patients hardly sleep due to the altered brain chemistry caused by the light scramblers which are pathogens. To orchestrate the harmonized chemistry (pH balance), days (light) and nights (darkness) play the inducive roles as if they are two conductors of one orchestra. Open pp. 252-253 of my book, The Silent War Within to see two images of how acids are formed in humans and fruits during the night.
You will realize how critical it is to absorb sunlight in order to have a good sleep at night. You will also realize who is responsible for the failure to absorb the light (energy) which your body needs in order to complete the transmission cycle of neurotransmitters and complete the production cycle of hormones.
Patients’ brain chemistry is also altered if they are residing in the place where they have been infected because pathogens never leave the place into which they penetrate unless the environment changes.
Parasitic fungi also act like caffeine and street drugs once they become parasitic inside the hosts.
Open p. 80 to find out how parasitic fungi and other pathogens such as bacteria and viruses (light scramblers) cause hormonal imbalance, in other words, how pathogens disrupt neurotransmitters.
When you run out of batteries, your smart phones are not operable. Likewise, when neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine, dopamine, GABA and serotonin are imbalanced, patients would hardly join or quickly quit discussions because their memory capacity is significantly reduced, or because patients would be easily agitated. Violence is a common symptom when the brain is damaged. When the damaged brain is treated, aggressive and violent behaviour diminishes.
These neurotransmitters also function as hormones. While they control emotions, they also affect digestive and cardiovascular functions. Thus, an eating disorder can be a consequence of the failed neurotransmission. Thus, an eating disorder can be a symptom of dementia or schizophrenia.
Street drugs such as cocaine or heroin also alter brain chemistry like caffeine does.
Both caffeine and street drugs cause addiction because they replace the human ability to make neurotransmitters and hormones. As a result, those users rely on caffeine or drugs on a daily basis.
Psychotropic medicines also replace the human ability to produce neurotransmitters making patients depend on the medicines. Thus, it is more effective and less harmful to treat the underlying cause of mental illness such as an infection or an addiction.
When you drink coffee as many as six cups a day, caffeine forces the adrenal glands to produce stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. The overproduced cortisol tightens the muscles in the walls of your blood vessels causing them to narrow slashing blood flow to the brain by roughly 40%. Thus, your heart is forced to pump harder in order to move blood throughout the body. When your heart is overburdened, you are prone to experience a heart attack.
Red blood cells contain about 70% of the total iron that the body contains. When you are infected by pathogens, white blood cells increase while ferritine and iron decrease causing anemia. If you know that iron (Fe2+) lose electrons to invasive parasitic pathogens due to an infection, you can easily assume that the heart will also lose power to pump red blood cells out to vessels. This makes the heart stop pumping causing a cardiac arrest.
The most common cause of iron deficiency is chronic infections but patients often neglect the cause. As a result of an infection, the heart also ungergoes highly defensive stage where the immune system hides iron from pathogens in order to prevent parasitic pathogens from stealing and absorbing iron that the hosts need.
Thus, infections can cause a cardiac arrest to the hosts due to the severe loss of electrons which iron (Fe2+) supply for the body.
The overproduced hormones also overburden the central nervous system causing irritability to coffee drinkers. They become ready to fight all the time.
When you are infected by fungi, bacteria or viruses, your brain chemistry is altered due to the overproduced acids which are pathogenic metabolites. The shifted metabolic pathways cause neurotransmitters to be imbalanced.
Psychotropic medicines work either by blocking neurotransmitters from latching onto receptors or by stimulating neurotransmitters in order to regulate the transmission process.
Those who have all types of neurological dysfunctions, hardly sleep without medication during the nights. They also hardly stay awake without medication during the days.
It is unwise to drink many cups of coffee during the day only to take sleeping pills at night. Coffeine and sleeping pills are the reason for the failure to recover from sleep disorder.
Mental illness such as dementia is a consequence of an infection or an addiction to caffeine, street drugs or alcohol.
Neurotransmitters are necessary to sleep deeply during the nights or to perform the daily tasks during the days. Once their roles are messed up by chemical imbalance due to infections or due to caffeine or drugs, it seems almost impossible to discontinue the medication unless their psychotropic medicines treat the underlying causes such as infections. Patients with infections are not allowed to drink coffee or coke in all hospitals. They should follow the same rule even after they are discharged.
Coffeine-addicted people should be alarmed enough to quit the addiction immediately because the brain damages cannot be undone. It is like pouring water into your computer which is turned on because the reversal of biochemistry can be permanently malfunctioned by caffeine.
Why are pathogens afraid of sunlight like vampire bats are? Open pp. 77 and 161 to read about plasma which will drop hints for the answer. The hints will answer the question why blood-thirsty auxotrophs cannot make blood by themselves and why they are afraid of sunlight of which pathogens are also afraid. This question can be easily answered if you understand how iron (Fe2+) defficiency results from an infection causing a cardiac arrest. See also my book to find out how frogs suddenly died of a cardiac arrest.
This is a similar question about caffeine consumers who refuse to make ATP (energy) through their aerobic respiration depending on caffeine and reversing the biochemical cycle of live organisms which are born through plasma state of universe where sunlight gives off life (Fe2+, Ca2+, Mg2+, etc) to planets and organisms. Instead of feeding on other animals’ blood (Fe2+), which is cheating, vampire bats were supposed to die when they broke the biological law in the solar system. This law does not exclude pathogens, which is the reason why they die off at UV frequency range. If they cannot face and absorb sunlight, they are supposed to die.
